Dawnpaw got up and started to walk back to camp with Lionclaw from the gathering. Once we reached the plains, Lionclaw started walking in a different direction from the camp.
"Wait, Where are we going?!" Dawnpaw asked.
"We are going to train hunting, Then fighting" Lionclaw said.
"Okay.." Dawnpaw said.
Lionclaw stopped at a tree, It was suppose to be the only tree in BreezeClan territory, Where most apprentices train.
"Okay, So first crouch down, Then make sure you don't scare your prey, Don't get to close or you will scare it away. Then you stalk up to it, and at the right time, you pounce and make sure you trap it in your paws, then bite down on it, Now watch me" Lionclaw said.
Lionclaw scented the air, walked a bit away, then crouched down. He stalked up to about a fox length, Then leaped and trapped the prey in his massive paws, Then bit down.
"You try now" Lionclaw ordered.
Dawnpaw sniffed the air and crouched down fast. She stalked up but a little to close and scared the mouse away.
"Aww..." Dawnpaw sighed.
"Try again" Lionclaw said.
Dawnpaw did the same again but stalked up to a fox length. Then leaped and trapped it into her paws. Then bit down. She picked up the mouse and dropped it over by Lionclaws paws.
"Good job, Now fighting" Lionclaw said as her backed up and pushed the mouse aside.
"You always let your opponent make the first move, If they won't, You have to taunt them. But if you go first, Your move will always be pin probably, Now attack me, But with claws sheathed" Lionclaw said.
Dawnpaw leaped high into the air and pinned down Lionclaw as she swiped her sheathed paws across his eyes, pretending to temporarily blind him. He knocked her off and sent her flying sideways. She got up and rammed into his side and swiped a paw across his side and back. Lionclaw swiped her away with a paw.
"Good enough for today" Lionclaw said as he picked up the mouse and padded away,k with a nod of his head.

Chapter 2
"Why don't we get to go?!" Shinepaw and Blazepaw looked at each other and exclaimed.
Dawnpaw stood up and padded over to her mentor and looked up at him, He nodded his head over toward the entrance and padded out. Dawnpaw chased after behind him and the cats.
"Have you've ever been to a gathering?" She asked.
"Many times, I am at least, 30 moons. While Hollystar is only 21" He said.
The cats of BreezeClan padded toward a group of cats. 3 Leaders were up on a rock each, execept for a rock with no cat sitting on it.
"Those are the Leaders" Lionclaw whispered to Dawnpaw. "The black and white one with a bunch of scars is Dogstar, The Light blue one is Icestar and the grey one is Cinderstar"
Dawnpaw imagined how it would be sitting up there. But her eyes went to the crowd of cats, All the clans were away from one another.
"Why are all the clans away from each other?" asked Dawnpaw.
"Clan rules, No clan should be beside one another because clans start a fight easily at gatherings" Lionclaw said.
Mouse dung rules... Dawnpaw thought.
Lionclaw sat down beside Robinwing and Dawnpaw sat down beside Lionclaw.
"You're late Hollystar! We would've came to your camp to tell you to get you're mousetail over here!" Dogstar sneered.
Dawnpaw noticed that a few of the cats in StoneClan looked beat and guilty. They all had scars on their pelts.
"Well, We had a ceremony and our camp lives quite far away from the Shining Rocks" Hollystar said as she jumped up onto a rock "Cinderstar, You may go first".
Cinderstar stood up and nodded. "PineClan has been doing good. We are a little low on supplies but a quarter-moon ago, one of our apprentices have been given his warrior name, Darkshade, Will you please stand up".
A cat stood up on the side of PineClan, He had long black fur with a white tail tip. His head stood high and his eyes closed in pride.
Cinderstar nodded to Icestar and Icestar stood up. "StreamClan has been doing fine, but since its late leaf-fall, The stream is starting to cover over and we need to find more prey, so we have been learning to catch land prey"
Dogstar smirked and stood up "StoneClan has been doing excellent, We have been training hard and we have lots of prey and herbs"
Dogstar looked over to Hollystar and sneered.
Hollystar stood up. "BreezeClan has been doing okay. We have prey and herbs. 3 of our kits has been given their apprentice names, Dawnpaw is the only one here tonight so please stand up Dawnpaw"
Dawnpaw stood up and raised her head and puffed out her fur, then she sat down again.
"Thank you to all the Clans that have came here tonight to listen to our Clans that are guided by StarClan, And may StarClan light your path" Icestar said.

Chapter 1
A small kit rolled out of the Nursery, She had cheerful green eyes, and a tan pelt with a white underbelly and paws, She also had light brown stripes. Then another kit, he was brave, and looked strong, He had a black pelt with a white chest spot and dark amber eyes. Then another walked out, She was tall and skinny, She had a brown pelt with darker brown stripes and a white tail tip, underbelly and paws, with beautiful ice blue eyes.
"Don't go to far from the Nursery!" A cats voice yowled from the Nursery
"We know, Mum!" The black kit said.
"We should be allowed to go out of camp! Rules are no fair!" Mewled the small kit.
The tall, skinny kit said nothing and walked beside her brother.
"Why don't we play.. Mouse throw?" The tall kit said.
"Sure!"
"Okay!"
"Okay, Blazekit, You will stand over there, by the highrock" The tall kit said.
Blazekit padded over beside the highrock.
"And Shinekit, You will stand over by the warriors den and you will throw the mouse first"
Shinekit padded over to the warriors den and turned toward the tall kit.
The other kit padded over toward the clearing.
"Can we start the game now, Dawnkit?" Blazekit said.
Shinekit picked up a mouse and threw it to Blazekit, Blazekit stumbled and missed the mouse.
"Your out!" Shinekit smirked as she went over to pick up the mouse and then threw it to Dawnkit.
Dawnkit jumped up a bit and caught it, Once she was ready she threw it back.
Shinekit missed.
"I win!" Dawnkit mewed.
She wolfed down the mouse quickly and padded over to the nursery with her siblings, It's been 5 moons since her mother died, But neither her or her siblings knew about it.
"Cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the highrock for a clan meeting!" Hollystars voice rang among the camp. Every cat gathered beneath the highrock to listen to Hollystars words.
"It's been another moon, And its time for another Gathering. I will pick the cats who will be going after this... Blazekit, Shinekit, And Dawnkit, Please come forward" Hollystar said.
The 3 kits came forward slowly and sat beneath the Highrock.
"It's been 6 moons, And you 3 are all ready to become Apprentices, Shinekit, Stand up"
Shinekit stood up.
"Shinekit, You have reached the age of 6 moons, And it is time for you to be Apprenticed, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Shinepaw. Your mentor will be Russetleaf.. Blazekit, Stand up"
Blazekit stood up
"Blazekit, You have reached the age of 6 moons, And it is time for you to be Apprenticed, From this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Blazepaw, Your mentor will be Eagleflight, Dawnkit, Stand up"
Dawnkit stood up slowly, and put her head up.
"Dawnkit.. You have reached the age of 6 moons, And it is time for you to be Apprenticed, From this day until you recieve your warrior name you will be known as Dawnpaw, Your mentor will be Lionclaw"
Hollystar paused for a minute.
"Specklepaw, Redfang, Robinwing, Dawnpaw, Lionclaw, You will all be coming to the Gathering tonight... Meeting dissmissed..."
"Don't go to far from the Nursery!" A cats voice yowled from the Nursery
"We know, Mum!" The black kit said.
"We should be allowed to go out of camp! Rules are no fair!" Mewled the small kit.

Prologue
A small black cat with green eyes, padded out from her small cave den. It was moonrise and all you could hear were the quiet, lovely songs of crickets. She leaped up onto a rock. You could see from miles away, all the way to the pine forest where PineClan hunted and protected. She started to relax and lay down. Until footsteps came closer and a voice whispering.
"Hollystar?"
She jumped and looked over to the glowing, ice blue eyes of their med cat, Thorntail.
"What is it?"
"If you want, I can tell you at sunrise..." The med cat said while he turned away, Stubbornly
"I'd appreciate it if you would tell me now" Hollystar said, With a rude tone in her voice.
"Okay... I think Echofrost is starting to get Whitecough, I am doing my best to help her, But I think its developing into Greencough, Quick..."
"What about her family and kits she needs to look after?!" Hollystar gasped.
"If she ends up dying, We will have to either get a warrior to look after the kits or Mintleaf, But Lionclaw already knows about it, He also went to get herbs around our territory" Thorntail said, worriedly
"I'll come in and see her after, But I need you to tell Mintleaf and maybe give Lionclaw some poppyseeds to help the stress, and keep an eye on cats that go near the med den, They could catch it easily" Hollystar said.
Thorntail nodded and walked away, Padding to the Nursery. In Hollystars mind, There was a mix of emotions, Sad, Disappointed, Worried, Shocked.
The kits were only born a few days ago. So hopefully they wouldn't know that there mother died and they would know Mintleaf would be their mother, but foster mother.
She glanced over to the entrance as she saw Lionclaw, Echofrosts mate, Enter with catmint and tansy being carried. Hollystar could see the sadness and worry in his eyes, Even though he was a strong, brave tom.
